Contegix data centers are located in Saint Louis and in London in the premier, highest rated carrier-neutral facility for each region. The Saint Louis data center and Contegix corporate headquarters are located in the Digital Realty Building at 210 North Tucker. This 200,000 square foot facility includes professional guard personnel and strict security procedures, built in redundancy to protect critical systems, as well as our expert client technical support team—comprised of Tier 3 engineers and full-time alert system monitors.
24/7/365 SECURED FACILITY
Our facility has strict security controls including restricted lobby access, coded key cards, coded badges and dual authentication access consisting of a combination key card and biometric fingerprint scan. Entire premises monitored by onsite security personnel and security cameras 24/7. In addition, HVAC, power and building critical systems are managed and monitored 24 x 7.
MULTIPLE CONNECTION POINTS
We house POPs for all major carriers operating in the region, including: Verizon, Level3, Inteliquent, Hurricane Electric and XO Communications. This allows us to have “On-Net” connections to providers avoiding local loops.
MULTIPLE REDUNDANT POWER SUPPLY
Our power infrastructure was built with redundancy in mind. We have 18 MW of utility power in place to the building delivered via three (3) separate 13.8 MV feeder circuits at N+1 redundancy.
GENERATOR BACKUP
Our facility has a 2,500 kW diesel generator with tap box for a temporary roll up generator. We possess fuel storage to provide over 24 hours of run time at full load . There is a two (2) hour delivery SLA with three suppliers for 24 x 7 refueling if an emergency arises.
CLIMATE CONTROL
Our facility has energy efficient 20 and 30 Ton CRAC (Computer Room Air Conditioning) units configured at N+2 redundancy. There are also three (3) 1,000 ton capacity cooling towers and condenser loop configured as N+1.
FIRE PROTECTION
Our fire detection and suppression system is a double interlock, dry pipe, pre-action system which means the sprinkler lines are filled with compressed air, not water. Our facility also has overhead smoke and heat detection.
TORNADO PROTECTION
Not only is our facility extremely secure, but it was also built with storm protection in mind. The facility can withstand 207 mph winds, which classifies it as an 18 Mid Rise building or an EF5 tolerance rating.
HARDWARE
Each server is unique in its build of premium hardware, but standardized at the component level. We do not use white boxes (generic pcs). Contegix offers hardware plans with a 30 minute replacement guarantee.
EXPERT ENGINEER STAFF ON-SITE 24/7
Our Network Operations Center (NOC) is staffed at all times with our expert, Tier 3 engineers. We monitor the network for performance issues and proactively troubleshoot any potential problems. Our engineers are on hand 24/7 to immediately assist you should your equipment need service.
