24/7/365 Secured Facility

Our facility is monitored using closed circuit digital cameras, biometric scans, keycards, coded badges, controlled after-hours acccess, security system monitoring, restricted access beyond the lobby and supervised 24 hours a day by professional security guards.

Proactive Monitoring

Our onsite Network Operations Center (NOC) is staffed at all times, allowing us to monitor the network for performance issues and proactively troubleshoot any potential issues.

Multiple Connection Points

We house POPs for all major carriers operating in the the region, including: Verizon, Level(3), Sprint, XO Communications and WiTel. This allows us to have “On-Net” connections to providers avoiding local loops.

Multiple Redundant Power Supply

Our power infrastructure was built with redundancy in mind. All power supplied to the data center is clean and constantly coming from the redundant UPS’ (AC) or battery plants (DC). The PowerWare UPS systems run in a redundant configuration to maximize reliability.

Hardware

Each server is unique in its build of premium hardware, but standardized at the component level. We do not use white boxes (generic pcs). Contegix offers hardware plans with a 30 minute replacement guarantee.

Climate Control

Each Environmental Control Unit/CRAC has a redundant “twin” on stand-by to take over in the event of a failure or service affecting health issue. These units maintain constant temperature (72°) and humidity (45%) for optimal safety and durability.

Fire Supression

Our fire detection and suppression is configured with three independent systems. The first two monitor for temperature and smoke. The third system is a VESDA system that inspects air samples with a laser to detect any potential fire hazards prior to an actual fire event. Our sprinkler system is dry pipe / pre-action which means the sprinkler lines are filled with compressed air, not water.

Raised and Anti-Static Floors

Raised floors improve access through data cabling while static floors provide the benefit of automatic and safe discharge when you pull-off a server.
