With significant experience as an operator and investor, Jason has served as CEO of a number of public and private companies. Jason’s technology expertise spans software and IT services. On the software side, Jason has run security, storage management, software-defined storage, virtualization, application management, and billing system companies. On the IT services side, Jason has run managed services, professional services, and business process outsourcing companies serving small to large enterprises.
Currently, Jason leads a security software firm, Cloudmark. Prior to that, Jason served as CEO of Atlantis Computing, a software-defined storage company; Vertex, a leading IT and BPO services company to the utility industry; and Acronis, a leading backup and recovery software company.
Jason has also served as CEO of ClearApp, an application management software company which he sold to Oracle in 2008; Meiosys, a virtualization software company which he sold to IBM in 2006; Ejasent, a virtualization software company which he sold to Veritas (now Symantec) in 2004; Apptix, an application hosting company which he took public in 2002; and TeleComputing, another publicly-listed application hosting software company. Jason has served and continues to serve on numerous technology company boards of directors and advisory boards.
Outside of his professional activities, Jason keeps himself busy with his three little children, who are constantly pulling him into their uncontrolled antics. He does his best to practice sporting activities such as biking and sailing, but his kids have other ideas in mind. He lives in Portola Valley, CA, with his family.

Philip J. Koen joined Intermedia, a mobile and integrated business cloud services company, in May 2011 as its Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board of Directors. Prior to joining Intermedia, from February 2010 to May 2011, Mr. Koen served as Chief Executive Officer of Montero Partners, an advisory services company.
From March 2006 to January 2010, Mr. Koen served as Chief Executive Officer and Director of Savvis, Inc., a global leader in cloud infrastructure and hosted IT solutions for enterprises. Before joining Savvis, from July 1999 to March 2006, Mr. Koen served in several executive positions with Equinix, Inc., a provider of network-neutral data centers and Internet exchange services, including as the company’s President and Chief Operating Officer, and as its Chief Financial Officer at the time of the company’s initial public offering.
Mr. Koen’s professional experience also includes senior executive roles from May 1997 until March 1999 with PointCast Inc., an Internet news delivery company, culminating in his appointment as the company’s President and Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Koen currently serves on the Board of Directors for Jive Software, a leading provider of modern communication and collaboration solutions company, and has served on the Board of a number of private tech companies.
During the past five fiscal years, Mr. Koen has served on the Boards of Infinera Corp., an optical networking company (from February 2010 to April 2014), Proofpoint, Inc., a cloud-based email security company (from October 2010 to June 2014), and Savvis (from March 2006 to January 2010). Mr. Koen holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics from Claremont McKenna College and an MBA from the University of Virginia.
Bob Morse is CEO and Co-Founder of Strattam Capital, a private equity firm focused on established, high-potential business technology companies. Founded in 2013, Strattam has offices in Austin and San Francisco. Previously, Mr. Morse was a Partner at Oak Hill Capital Partners, and has also worked at Loudcloud, an internet infrastructure pioneer, GCC Investments, and Morgan Stanley.
Mr. Morse holds an MBA from Stanford University, where he was an Arjay Miller Scholar, and a BSE, summa cum laude, from Princeton University. He currently serves on the Board of Doxim Holdings, Trax Technologies, Blacksmith Applications and Contegix, as well as the Advisory Board of the HMTF Center for Private Equity Finance at the University of Texas in Austin.
Adrian Polak co-founded Strattam Capital in 2013. He is a member of the board of directors of Doxim Holdings, Blacksmith Applications, Contegix and Trax Technologies. Previously, Mr. Polak was a Senior Advisor in the Technology Group for Oak Hill Capital Partners. Prior to his engagement at Oak Hill, Mr. Polak was Vice President at Rockwood Capital where his primary responsibility was to implement the firm’s data center investment program.
Mr. Polak’s experience previous to Rockwood includes having been the Manager of Corporate and Business Development at Kontiki, an internet infrastructure company, and an Associate in the M&A group at Hambrecht and Quist (now JP Morgan Chase). Mr. Polak earned his MBA from the Haas School of Business at the University of California – Berkeley, and his B.Com (Honors) from Queen’s University.
Matthew Porter co-founded Contegix, the award winning cloud, application lifecycle management, and managed services company. Contegix is widely recognized throughout the industry for delivering reliable hosting with expert support to drive customer value. During his tenure, the company’s revenue grew consistently, year over year. In addition to its financial growth, the organization that began as a two-person team, now employees nearly 50 people in Saint Louis, Missouri.
Before founding Contegix, Porter served as Director of Professional Services for Demand Management Inc. (DMI) in Saint Louis. At DMI, Porter built a team of senior developers and consultants to implement the next-generation of enterprise supply chain management. Porter has also held the position of Senior Application Developer for World Wide Technology and senior engineering positions at TelcoBuy.com and IBM Global Services.
In 2010, Porter was inducted into the John Cook School of Business Smurfit-Stone Entrepreneurial Hall of Fame as the “Under 40 Entrepreneur” at Saint Louis University. The Saint Louis Business Journal has named Porter both “30 Under 30” in 2007 and “40 Under 40” in 2012. Porter currently serves on the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation Board. Porter previously served as a board member for Entrepreneurs Organization (EO) Saint Louis where he coaches and mentors early-stage entrepreneurs. Porter also sits on the Advisory Board for a select number of startups, including Bonfyre.
Porter was educated at Saint Louis University, where he earned his B.S. in Applied Computer Science. Porter, his wife and three children, reside in Saint Charles, Missouri.
Jim is a recently retired executive from DSS, an IT services company he founded in 1995 with a vision to provide total lifecycle infrastructure solutions that maximize clients’ investments in technology. Jim recruited a very skilled technical team, established strong industry partnerships, and built a portfolio of services that deliver exceptional value. Jim has 50 years of experience in the information technology industry. He began his career with IBM in Endicott, NY, as a programmer and later relocated to Reading, PA, as a sales executive.
During his tenure in Reading, he expanded IBM’s strategic relationship with customer executives in the manufacturing, banking, retail, utility, and healthcare industries. As president of DSS, Jim continued to work closely with regional executives, developing DSS solutions to address their business needs, including Data Center solutions, for the rapidly changing technology industry. He also served on the Avnet Advisory Council, a group of IT leaders who provide input to Avnet/TechData, IBM’s largest customer and a distributor of IBM products and services to the solution provider channel. Jim and his partners sold DSS in November of 2016 to Strattam Capital, a Private Equity firm from Austin, TX. Strattam has combined DSS with several other IT services companies and renamed Contegix.
Jim earned a Bachelor's degree from King’s College, and a Masters of Business Administration from Scranton University. He currently serves as a Trustee on several local Boards - Alvernia University, Penn State Health St. Joseph, and Mary's Shelter. He and his wife reside in Wyomissing, PA. They have four children and fourteen grandchildren.
Tom Tinsley recently retired as a Managing Director with General Atlantic LLC where he served from 1999-2016. Prior to that he served as the CEO of Baan Company, NV (a General Atlantic portfolio company) and prior to that was a Director at McKinsey & Company from 1978-1995.
Mr. Tinsley has served on numerous public, private and non-profit boards. Currently, he serves on the boards of TRAX and Contegix which are companies sponsored by Strattam Capital (where he also serves on the board). Additionally, he serves as Co-Chair of the DC Region for Teach for America and on the boards of Life Flight of Maine and the Island Institute of Maine.
Mr. Tinsley earned an M.B.A. from the Stanford Graduate School of Business and a B.A. in Politics and Theology from the University of Notre Dame.
