Appfire + ServiceRocket
Integration, Integration, Integration (Plus a Smattering of Confluence) On January 11th, Appfire announced their acquisition of 20 Atlassian Marketplace apps from ServiceRocket, adding to their already substantial portfolio for 2023. This takeover confirms what we’ve been seeing both with Appfire’s ongoing acquisition strategy and with trends in the Atlassian partner ecosystem as a whole.

Appfire + Digital Toucan
Appfire have announced the acquisition of Digital Toucan, makers of the very popular and fast-growing JQL Search Extensions and OKR for Jira apps. Following on from their acquisition of 7pace and venture into the Microsoft ecosystem, this takeover demonstrates Appfire’s continued commitment to strengthening the breadth and depth of their Atlassian Marketplace portfolio of apps, particularly in high-growth areas.

Appfire + 7pace | The Gloves Are Off!
In their first major acquisition outside of the Atlassian ecosystem, Appfire have acquired 7pace, the makers of 7pace Timetracker. In a move that brings them both into the time management space and the Microsoft ecosystem, Appfire are demonstrating their desire to grow both their Atlassian offering across every major category and expand across strategic ecosystems.

Appfire + Arsenale
With their first acquisition since bringing Comalatech onboard in April, Appfire have acquired Arsenale, the makers of Arsenale Dataplane – Jira Reports. Appfire were already the market leaders in Reporting (with 17,000+ instances across their 15 MARS categorized Reporting apps), and this move has further strengthened this position in this space. The move also builds upon Appfire’s growing expertise with Arsenale founder David Goldstein joining the team.

Appfire + Comalatech – The New King of Confluence
On the eve of Team ’22, Appfire have announced their biggest acquisition this year so far. Appfire are welcoming Canadian app vendor Comalatech to their family of apps in an acquisition that will strengthen Appfire’s Confluence positioning significantly. Comalatech are the makers of Comala Document Management, Comala Metadata, and Comala Publishing as well as a host of other documentation-related apps for Confluence.
